Power(s): Lady Venus has the power of light, love, and metal. Venus is the carrier of the Holy Blade of the Princess as well as a gold chain that wraps around her waist.
Abilities: Venus has the ability to read auras. She can see how two people feel towards each other and often abuses this power. This quality has been a known trait of the next ruler of Venus.

Traits: Lady Venus is flirtatious and brash. She is known for saying exactly what she thinks, no matter how rude or inappropriate. Venus is known for her ability to switch from "Leader Mode" to "Dite Mode". Example: One moment, she is commanding an army to flirting with a general in a short amount of time.

Description:
Uniform: A v-necked white leotard decorated with a short and detachable skirt; two dark blue bows on her chest and her rear; a orange flap of fabric in the back; a brooch in the center of the bow on her chest; and a gold chain that wraps around the circumference of her waist. The uniform is decorated by low heel-ed orange shoes with a strap circling her ankle, ivory gloves that reach her elbows, an orange choker, and a gold tiara covering her planetary symbol with a jewel.

Outside of Uniform: Lady Venus enjoys changing her clothes quite a bit when out of her senshi uniform. She is quite famous for her elaborate fashion choices for balls.
On casual days, she wears a light white toga that hugs the curves of her body.

Appearance: Lady Venus has a youthful face with large dark blue-gray eyes and a small rounded nose. She has relatively high cheekbones and a smooth, creamy complexion despite the few scars that adorn her face from her years of training. She has a hourglass shape. Venus has relatively medium sized chest and buttocks yet has very shapely thighs and long legs. Venus has a bit of a muscular build because she has been training for many, many years. The muscular definition is most apparent in her legs.

Strengths:

• Ingenious- She is known to come about solutions in an odd manner.
  
• Persistent- Venus will never stop fighting for something she believes for.
  
• Loving-Although she has a strange way of showing it, when she cares for someone deeply, she will put her heart and soul on the line.
  
• Brave- She is not afraid to die. She tackles everything she sees head on.
  
• Fast Learner- Venus learns quickly from languages to combat.
  

Weaknesses:

• Assuming- She often assumes things without fully knowing the truth.
  
• Brash- Venus gets herself in a lot of trouble for doing things
  
• Confusing herself- She often has a habit of saying things wrong. Not only politically incorrect but in the wrong language.
  

Hopes:

• She hopes to lead her princess into a intelligent and great queen.
  
• Sailor Venus wants to represent her country and her people in a positive light.
  
• In her deepest and darkest of wishes, she wants to fall in love.
  

Fears:

• Lady Venus fears the prophecies that has been placed on her generation.
  

Background: Aphrodite VII was born from the waves of the Venusian sea. The Queen and the King of Venus rushed to the ocean to see the young girl they would adopt and raise as their own.

The Queen was known for her prophecies and the King for his eternal joyous mood. The only time they both never smiled was when the queen had the dream of her daughter dying at the hand of someone she loved.

Aphrodite VII became the princess of Venus. She was loved by the public. She was a spunky little girl who enjoyed sports and flirting with men much older than her.

Although through these happy times., rebels began spreading rumors the royal family feared to be true. They believed she was the reincarnation of the Aphrodite that established the planet. She was able to see love between people she had never met. "Dite" (as she was called by her friends and her parents) could see the link between two soul-mates.

Soon, the signs were too hard to cover up. Her facial features, body, and actions resembled all too much of the former queen.

More of the public began to fear her when rebel leader reminded them of the following prophecy told by a priestess of Venus only three days before Dite was born.
" When Aphrodite returns, it will be in the most peaceful of times, when she leaves once more...nothing will remain."


Soon, her power began to overwhelm her, she was unable to control it. With news of this, Queen Serenity was certain she had found the next Sailor Venus.

It was never clarified if this was just a power of Venus or if she was the true reincarnation of Aphrodite.

Dite left her home planet and her name behind her. She became Sailor Venus, the leader of the Moon's Sailor Senshi. She trained with her new companion Artemis while she waited for her comrades to awaken.

"PRINCESS!" Venus screamed through the halls of the Moon Kingdom's palace. "PRINCESS!" She heard rapid taps on the marble tiles. With a smirk and a snicker, she followed the sound and the flurry of long white hair.

The long white hair sent her into a memory of time when Serenity used to sit in her lap. Every night before the Queen came to bid her a goodnight, she and the princess would get the last bit of her jitters out. Venus would brush her soft hair that smelled lightly of the imported flowers from Jupiter. They'd jump on the bed quickly before the Queen came or whisper tales of the Earth's twin.

Yet here they were a hundreds of years later still playing their childish game. Venus could never quite explain it but the Princess made her feel lighter.

Why do you want to play this character?
Venus is a very interesting character. She spends a lot of her time and energy chasing things she can never have but she is never bitter about it. She believes that it is just life.

Whoever she surrounds herself in her life, she cares for and has deep respect for them. She chooses them because there is something she admires and wants to be more like.

She doesn't cry a lot. She usually swallows her sadder emotions and continues on.

Venus is a strong warrior and intelligent yet confuses herself of the simplest things. Venus is a mixture of contradictions.

I believe that she can truly be wrapped up in the saying "C'est la vie".
