Venus laughed hardily at the Princess' cry. She felt a sort of pride at the proclamation. Serenity's embarrassment was icing on the cake. It seemed with each exchange, the princess' face grew more and more red.
However, when the princess exclaimed not to get so ahead of herself, she was off guard. Her chuckles ceased and she was silent. Her was a little agape and her eyes blinked double time in surprise. The seriousness of Serenity's statements caused her to feel a bit bad.
"I didn't mean..." She began quietly before losing what she was going to say. Her mind begin to process the actions of the princess over the past few days. Serenity had seemed a bit quieter and more secretive. Luna and Mercury had both complained about her daydreaming more than usual.
She took in a deep breath. "I didn't mean your secret beau. I just meant, in the future, should you find someone you love, my hope for them is to not be creepy." Venus sighed and shrugged. "I'm just teasing, princess." The senshi straightened her torso. "Just curious, where are you meeting this mysterious man?"

Serenity sighed at the change in Venus. She did not mean to come off as snappy but this trying to sneak around and with Ender constantly on her mind with no way to see him she supposed she was a little testy. I know...I just miss him terribly, I guess its making me rather testy She wondered what he was doing right now...maybe he was herding his sheep or sitting under there tree looking up at the moon. Serenity sighed again and looked at the other blonde and smiled a little when Venus asked where she was meeting her mystery man while gently shaking her head. A princess is allowed her secrets No one could ever know about her little adventure to Earth |

Venus eyes darted at Serenity's side. The little smile assured her that they were still on good terms as well as Venus hadn't gone overboard with her teasing. The princess' expression put the senshi's mide to ease. Venus' grin returned as she thought about the princess' statement.
“Well okay.” She paused. “Princess, if you never need advice...” She began of solemnly before her voice perked. “I'm your number one go to gal!” She said with a wink. “I can help you with anything from attraction to more.” The more had a suggestive tone with it.
She watched the princess' reaction with joy. She waited a bit before her expression turned grim. “Also, if you let this man..or any man have your maidenhood before I permit it. I promise, as Aphrodite the seventh and the current body for the goddess Aphrodite, there will be hell to pay.” Her eyes filled with an evil glint.

Oh my stars Venus! Serenity exclaimed loudly while gently shoving her friend away from her. Really thou, talk about things like that was something Serenity was not acustomed to, that was...well, that was Venus's department and talking about it...even if it was with the embodiment of love and lust herself made the princess uncomfortable. Really, I've just meet this man! I-I would never! This whole conversation was just awful.
As Venus continued and threatened about her innocence Serenity could not help but roll her eyes. Venus...I am 208 years old...not that I would but really. |

Venus' eyes narrowed. "I'm two hundred and sixty, I'm still locked into a chasity vow to you." She patted her knee. "Jeez, keep your gown on. You don't have to convince me that you're not as innocent and pure as you like to pretend to be."
She stuck her tongue at the princess. "You're evil and I accept this about you. And for like the third time, I'm just advising you, whether it be for him or some other royal jack--suitor."
Venus giggled as she covered her mouth. Even if she and Serenity were close in age, it was strange to curse in front of her.

At Venus's comment about her not being as innocent as she seemed Serenity's jaw dropped. I am too! I just-I This conversation was no good, she kept getting flustered and she could feel her cheeks getting redder and redder the more it went on. Right now she was wishing anyone else had happened in on her reading that book, the conversation might be less embarrassing. When Venus said her last bit the princess giggled It's not like I have many suitors, you all scare them away. |

It was now Venus's turn to be shocked. Her giggles cut short and her eyes were wide with disbelief. How dare the princess make such a statement?
She crossed her arms and began to pout.
"Scare them away? How do I scare them away?" She crossed her arms. "I know Mars simply uses her eyes, Jupiter uses that intimidation with her knuckle cracking, and Mercury questions their intellect." She noted this by putting a finger down each time she mentioned someone. When only her thumb remain, she pointed to herself. "But how is the goddess of LOVE part of scaring away these suitors?"

Venus...you are a Senshi, guardian to the princess of the moon, princess of the planets....any man who didn't fear you four would be foolish. Think about it. Serenity did feel for those men that did try to court her, they had good intentions but with her four guardians at her side every move they made it made for some uncomfortable interactions. And, you said so yourself, you are the Goddess of love....how are they to live up to your expecation for what is acceptable to the Princess. hmm? |
