April 17th, Year One
The meeting began promptly. The silver queen sat stiffly in her throne as one of her attendants listed off the items on the agenda for their meeting. As the attendant continued, she looked softly to her daughter in the seat beside her.
"Item number five, the Silver Alliance Anniversary..." The queen noticed the life and attention return to the eyes of the senshi. She covered a smile, remembering feeling the same way at their ages.
She nodded to her attendant, "Shall we start here? I suppose it will fall right before Serenity's birthday this year." The elder Serenity mused. "Does anyone have anything to add? Were there any problems last year that we should address?"

Mars stood before her sovereign, her amethyst eyes fixed and filled full with the utmost attention for her ruler. Though it was not in her nature to show so much excitement, Mars too shared the same emotions that her sisters-in-arms around her were currently feeling. She could just feel herself fill up with pride when the attendant presented the issue to Queen Serenity.
Had another year truly passed them? It seemed like it was only yesterday... She stood there wondering, when the question imposed by the queen forced her to leave her own thoughts.
She was the quick to answer, yet the question puzzled her a little. From what she remembered, almost everything went as planned... "None that I can recall, Your Majesty." Mars frowned, thinking back. "Only the High Priest complains that there wasn't nearly enough wine to fully enjoy last year's celebration." She gave light smile as she let in on the older Martian's teasing joke. The Silver Alliance Anniversary even eased away the sternest of men such as the priest. And just as the priest, the Martian princess was definitely in high spirits as well.
(IDK. >.< I'm just.... really loopy right now. I apologize. Hope this works.)

A PARTY! A Silver Alliance Anniversary Party nonetheless! She loved how the event balanced tradition and rambunctious celebrating. She'd have to see her family and still maintain an air of respect and competence while still having fun as well as keeping an eye on the princess.
Venus giggled at Mars' comment. "That seemed to be the complaint from the Venusian nobles as well." She felt a few eyes look to her direction, "Aside from me, of course."
She waved her hands frantically in front of her to deflect suspicion with a giant smile.

Mercury stood attentive her eyes fixed intensely on Queen Serenity. Normally she loved their meetings with the Queen after all calculating, planning, and preparing where the places she shined. However, the moment item number five on the agenda was read off she immediately felt her stomach drop.
Had it really been that long? Mercury could have sworn that she had at least a another month before she had to start worrying about anyone even mentioning the Silver Alliance Anniversary, and at least another month before she had to begin mentally preparing herself for the festivities that went along with it. Yet here another year had slipped by without her noticing it, and she was once again going to be forced to spend her time charming foreign dignitaries, going to parties, and dancing with total strangers.
Dread overtook her as Mercury tried to mimic the expressions of excitement on the other senshi’s faces, while she simultaneously tried to think up as many ways possible to get out of the celebrations. Perhaps she could pretend to be sick, and spend the evenings hiding in her room. That wouldn't work thought because she couldn't neglect her duties as a guardian to the princess. Realizing that there was probably no way to get out of the celebrations, she was drawn from her thoughts by Mars and Venus’s conversation about how there hadn't been enough wine last year.
Giggling, she tried to remember how many glasses of wine her bubbly leader had had.“I don’t remember hearing any complaints about wine from the Mercurian nobles, but then again we tend to be a bit more conservative when it comes to the consumption of alcohol,” she mused.“Perhaps if that was the only complaint we received from last year we should proceed on to think about possible ways we can improve this year,” her more serious side taking over as she kicked into planning mode. She might not enjoy the actual party, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to take planning it seriously. After all planning was something Mercury enjoyed, regardless of what is was.

Serenity sat next to her mother on her own throne. Back stiff and head straight like a princess should but her mind was everywhere but the matters at hand. Things like this were so boring and sitting still like this was the worst thing the princess could think of. To make matters worse all Serenity wanted to do was sit and stare at the earth, something she had taken to doing much more these days after her last visit to the planet and her dear Ender's letter. Since that day Serenity just sort of moped around the palace, much like what she was doing before her presence was requested here.
However, when her mother mentioned the Silver Alliance Anniversary and her birthday the young princess perked up. As the other girls started talking about the lack of wine at last years celebration Serenitys mind was racing. This could be the chance she had been waiting for, perhaps if she was able to fix things she could see Ender again.
As Mercury mentioned any possible ways they could make things better Serenity nearly popped up out of her chair in excitement. I have a idea! she said quickly before realizing that if she seemed to eager for this that it might rise questions. I have a idea mother. She repeated again, this time more calmly and princess like while turning her head to look at the elder Serenity. What if we were to extend the invatation to the royals of earth? They are our closest neighbors but things are so hostile...what better way to try to mend things than a invatation to a Silver Alliance party?

Pluto laughed lightly at the younger girls. Wine was what most of the complaints were about. "well I think I can say the very few Plutonian royals that came last year had no complaints what so ever." the senshi of time said.
When she heard the princess's excitement she couldn't help the soft smile she sent the blonds way. It was amusing to see the younger girls get so excited over things. As soon as the blond spoke though both eyebrows hit her hair line. Earth invite earth. she wasn't completely sure that was such a good idea some of the planets wouldn't be to happy to have them here for the silver alliance anniversary she knew for a fact the plutonians wouldn't be to happy but she didn't say a word she just waited to see what Queen serenity would say. Was that really what the princess had looked so excited about.
