Helios is able to heal minor to major wounds by a soft glowing 'aura' around his hands. With Major wounds, he has to pray to keep his 'magic' flowing, because it takes a lot out of him and he'll black out from exhaustion even with the praying alongside healing, he will faint. Also, he is able to transform into Pegasus) and is allowed one rider (of his choice).


Traits:
Helios is rather quiet and at times can be quite shy, sometimes he can be quite vocal, but prefers to be quiet and observe what's going on around him. Sweet, kind and caring, Helios is an all-around good guy. He is very loyal to his friends and the people he cares for. Truth be told, Helios is and always be one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He is very patient, having a long fuse before he snaps.

He gets quite embarrassed easily, and blushes a bright shade of pink if he's embarrassed. High priority on Helios' list is protecting dreams. Being a priest, he will do whatever it takes (..Even if it literally kills him) to protect the dreams of the innocent. It is these dreams that keep Helios around, for there are so many, and he will not just abandon his duty as priest, even though he has had to make some sacrifices in order to do so.

Habits: He likes to read, anything that's available. He finds the earth fantasy stories rather amusing, and can usually be seen reading these.

Appearance:
Helios stands at a height of five foot six, his face is somewhat angular with high cheekbones and a slightly pointed chin. His eyes are somewhat large and a rich golden hue, his pupils are ringed by a darker goldenrod shade.Thick, lustrous coal-hued eyelashes ring his gaze, intensifying it considerably. His lips are somewhat thin, and have a natural pale coral color to them.

His horn is a brilliant golden hue. His frame may be thin, but it is severely misleading. Underneath his pale, peach skin lies a lean layer of muscle. His hands are rather slender, with naturally slender fingers. His snow-white hair is thick and fluffy, reaching to just barely his shoulders, and curling a bit about his face. Helios' skin is a gentle peach shade, somewhat pale because of the time he spends on Elysion and inside.

Helios' attire usually consists of pale, pastel shades. Helios' shirts usually range from sleeveless (Summer only) to long-sleeved shirts. He will also wear button-up shirts at formal occasions matched with a blazer and dress pants. Casually, Helios will wear whatever suits the weather or his mood on that day. Even casually, Helios will not wear jeans, preferring to wear dress pants.

Priestwear:

Helios' priestly attire is a white silk shirt, with 5 blue 'feathers' across the chest, spaced evenly apart and topped by small beads of gold. He wears a cloak with this, also white, but lined with silk in a soft cerulean blue. His slacks and shoes are also white, never stained, and always perfectly ironed.

Strengths:
Helios is loyal to a fault when it comes to his friends,he will risk great danger to help them, and even after all this time, Helios will still aid his friends when they are in need.He has great faith in people and is always willing to give people another chance.He is not a fighter, and would prefer to keep to the sidelines.He’s got a good mind, and can usually think of something to help.

Weaknesses:
Helios’s weaknesses lie in his strengths, when it comes down to it, Helios would indeed die for his friends and the ones he loves. Because Helios doesn’t like to fight, the priest can easily become a target for attacks, unfortunately this has lead him into trouble before when Nehellenia captured him, therefore, Helios’s strength is below average, because he doesn't like to fight.

Hopes:
Helios's hopes mostly lie in the fact that he wishes to find someone that will care about him, the way he is.

Fears:

Helios fears those that intend to do wrong against others, he also fears capture and being locked up.

Background:

It's not clear how Helios was created but strong speculation shows that the priest was created from the hopes and dreams of children around the galaxy and one dream in particular brought him to life. The dream of Prince Endymion. Helios, powered by the golden crystal in Endymion's heart did his very best to help the young boy with his princely duties. One day while helping Endymion with a few things, Helios was momentarily distracted by someone calling his name, turning, he was instantly trapped in Nehellenia's world. Days turned into weeks..and weeks turned into months, months into years, until finally, Helios was saved. He saw a brilliant light,that broke into the darkness he had suffered in for so long. Strengthened and Guided by this brilliant golden light, Helios took on the form of a Pegasus, a golden horn atop his head, symbolizing the Golden Crystal, and let his spirit go towards the light. There he met a sweet young girl by the name of Tsukino Usagi, or Chibiusa as she was known. He met her in one of her dreams, promising to help the girl in any way he could as long as she kept their meeting secret. As the relationship between Helios and Chibi-Usa strengthened, Helios realized that he was falling in love with the young candy-haired girl. Continuing to help her, and the senshi, Helios eventually gained the friendship and trust of the Sailor Senshi. After helping power the girls up, Helios found himself lost again..as Chibiusa had abruptly grown into a young woman because of a switch that PallaPalla performed. Desperate, Helios acted, and found her, showing her how Elysion was suffering at the hands of Nehellenia's power. Chibi-Usa realized that if she didn't switch back into a little girl, Nehellenia would win. So she made her decision and the two shared a kiss. Moments after that first kiss, Helios revealed his normal form and told her his name, as Chibi-Usa had only known him as Pegasus until then. Finally, the Sailor Senshi went up against Nehellenia, and much to the annoyance of the vain woman, the Quartet had switched the Golden Crystal for a pineapple

RP Sample:
Helios had been in Elysion for a little over a week now. He had been watching his wife’s dreams rather carefully and intently as he used to. Her dreams were still beautiful; he had to admit that at least. Seeing the graceful cotton-candy rabbit-eared queen in her dreams made him smile gently. Her dreams were full of light and love. He knew it was the only way to still speak to her wife and get messages out to his daughter to let her know her mother was still alright. Golden eyes softened considerably as he saw an image of himself in the dream as Pegasus. He allowed his eyes to shut and he took over the image of the Pegasus in Serenity’s dream in order to converse with her.

“Beautiful Maiden” He began “My beautiful wife. Selenity has been not herself since you fell asleep.” Gently, he started towards her“I am hoping we’ll be able to fix this soon. She hasn’t been eating, nor has she been barely sleeping. The Senshi arrived yesterday after she called to them. Her heart is powerful, but I fear for her happiness.” He sighed through his nose as a horse would. His wings shimmered gently as he gazed at her, golden horn catching the light in the dream and making it sparkle. Golden eyes closed a moment as he stopped just a few feet away, taking the form of Helios, as his priestly form. He opened his eyes.

“Dearest one..” He smiled tenderly at her. “Your dreams, as usual, are full of light, love and beauty, much like your soul. I miss you and I love you. I just wish you were in the waking world instead of here, in the dream world.” He gazed downwards at the thick green grass about them.

“Selenity has decided to attempt to figure out what it is that has produced this pulse that put all the queens…not just yourself, in this state. The Queens of the other planets have also been affected. It prematurely awakened the children as well..and rather violently at that. Some of the Senshi have turned to the darkness instead of staying in the light. This goes for the Satellites as well. We are in a dire situation. The evil ones are also able to enter our home..due to the fact they have been touched by the magic of the Silver Crystal. I am going to attempt to keep an eye out for the dark ones, though it is difficult.” He shook his head. “I fear I may have to bring about the White Knight form that I have access to in order to help them.” Helios’s slender face twisted into a frown. “I just hope it will not come to that.” (taken from a board I myself admin)

Why do you want to play this character?
I have been complimented many a time on how I portray Helios so well, and never go OUT of character with him, I play him very mature, and very calm, the way he is supposed to be played. I love Helios as a character and I wish to share my Helios with all of you. I found this site through Google and decided to take a look at it and was rather pleased at what I saw. I want to play Helios simply because I adore the priest, and he's a particular favorite.
