Traits: Jadeite is described by his friends (and superiors) as a pain, snarky, annoying, con artist, and “...strangely loyal”. Jadeite is cocky, opinionated, and talkative, usually his words will get himself in some trouble. Although he'll say he doesn't care what others think, he really does. He is fiercely loyal yet has a hard time showing his love and care. He is also very observant.
Habits: He is bad about talking himself into a hole. When he realizes what he's done wrong, he tries to fix what he's said and usually just gets in more trouble.
Description: Uniform: Jadeite wears a tan longsleeved shirt and pants with gold outlines. As well as a cape that is just a few inches short of touching the ground.
Appearance: Jadeite is relatively tall, (he says he's taller than Zoisite but no one believes him.), has bright blue eyes and a head full of curly blonde hair. He is skinny and has long legs. He's not as skinny as Zoisite but not as thick as Nephrite. Although he is skinny, his muscles are defined especially in his legs and arms. Most women of the Terran kingdom would say “he is attractive but not nearly as attractive as...”.

Strengths:

• Illusion- as mentioned before, he can easily trick the mind
  
• Charismatic- he could convince one to do anything.
  
• Loyal- He will defend his prince, planet, and fellow shitennou to the death.
  

Weaknesses:

• Opinionated- He has a hard time not telling people exactly what he feels/thinks.
  
• Manipulative- He can get almost anyone to do as he pleases.
  
• Offending Others-He's a bit of a people pleaser, if he cares for the person then he'll try to avoid offending them. However, it usually causes more of an issue than before.
  

Hopes:

• To lead Terra into a golden age with Endymion as king

Background:

Jadeite, born as Prince Dong on March 27th, was born into a family of all daughters much to the relief of the emperor. The youngest was the son. In the first years of his life, he was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, his father's pride and joy. Also, the source of his sisters distaste and hatred. They bullied and teased him. He learned quickly how to please others in order to get what he wanted.

His tutors stressed the history of the nations and combat although, he wasn't very good at it. His diplomatic abilities excelled easily. During his years prior to becoming a shitennou, he searched for the ability of magic. Jadeite was raised with the ideals of the eastern kingdom.

He could do this. He knew he could. Jadeite tried to focused. He closed his eyes, ruffled his hair to his liking, and took a deep breath. His blue eyes opened immediately. His hand focused all his energy to create a bulb of energy. His eyes narrowed at his hand, awaiting for the bulb to sprout in his hand. Desperately trying to clear out his mind, Jadeite shoved aside thoughts of failure. Beads of perspiration appeared onto his forehead. He felt desperate and eager for the little bit of power to appear from his palm.

However within the next ten minutes, he gave up and went to pursue something else.

Why do you want to play this character?

I don't know why but Jadeite to me has always been a little bit goofy despite his qualities of being the master of disguises and his loyalty. He's always had some warm place in my heart (especially after the happy bunny jump in the special act of PGSM). I feel like I could portray him with all combined canon Also, Mars/Jadeite are both my second favorite s/s couple. I would love to interact and grow that relationship.
